CHOSEN CHURCH LEADERS

ISAAC & KRISTINA HERNANDEZ

Lead Pastors

Both Isaac & Kristina have served in the context of the local church for over 25 years, & love to see people strengthened and set free.  Pastor Isaac graduated with honors from Portland Bible College in 2001 and has led worship for over 27 years. Pastor Kristina served as youth, prayer, and executive pastor over a 20 year period at City Gate Church Hillsboro, and as co-lead pastor at Chosen Church for six years. They are members of Minister's Fellowship International (MFI).

CHRIS & MELINDA GANDARA

  • Served as Elders and Board Members - 2006 to 2025

Pastors Louie & Jan responded to the call of God with the confirmation of their Eldership team in Eugene, OR to plant Gresham Christian Fellowship which is now Chosen Church back in 1995. They served as Senior Pastors for 24 years and successfully passed the baton of leadership to their eldest son Isaac and daughter-in-law Kristina in 2019.  They established an apostolic and prophetic legacy rooted in the Holy Spirit, the Word of God and revival!  Pastor Jan lead the children's ministry and small groups ministry while discipling so many people.  She also served administratively.  Pastor Louie has ministered in Russia, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Columbia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia, Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana and all across the United States!  He helped establish churches, heal leadership teams, ordain new ministries, and prophesied over thousands of people and moved in signs, wonders and miracles!  

JUSTIN & LISA TUCKER

 

With three decades of combined local church ministry experience Pastors Justin & Lisa have a passion for ministering to the body of Christ and reaching the lost.  Justin has served in various local church departments - discipleship, small groups, setup and Audio/Visual. Lisa previously served at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in women's ministry, small groups, and service coordinator. They oversee the Welcome Team and A/V Team and serve in many other areas in the local church including discipleship, children's ministry, outreach, and men's and women's small groups.

Pastors/Elders

The Shaw's have a passion to serve the Lord and the body of Christ, they have a shepherd's heart and operate in pastoral, prophetic and evangelistic ministry.  They have a passion for prayer ministry and move in an anointing for deliverance.  They have been a part of Chosen Church since 2014 and have been faithful to serve the God's people with genuine hearts of love and compassion.  They are key members of our men's and women's small group ministry team as well as our discipleship and worship ministry teams.

LOUIE & JAN HERNANDEZ

The Gandara's have served in a local church setting teaching and ministering for over 30 years, and are original members of the founding team of Chosen Church (previously known as Gresham Christian Fellowship - est. 1995). They are encouragers with the gift of faith. They have served the body of Christ for over 30 years and have ministered internationally and locally in discipleship, teaching, prophetic and children's ministry touching many lives. They've always served faithfully and have established a lasting legacy that will impact generations to come.  We honor and thank them for all the years they served in the house of the Lord at Chosen Church!
